Cracks in the wall

November 30, 2007

Seems that John Murtha is finally admitting that the surge is working. He also displayed his customary intelligence by crediting an increase in troops for making the difference. Now anybody with half a brain knows that “the surge” by definition was an “increase in troop strength” so of course that is what did it.

Now poor Pelosi is getting herself in a bind when even a Marine bashing piece of garbage like Murtha admits that he and every single democrat who opposed the surge were wrong.

I find it very ironic that these same democrats will believe in man made global warming and site a few, usually mistaken, measurements as the basis of belief but when our troops on the ground do such a fantastic job you have to pull confessions out of them with pliars.

A quote that should be read by all Man Made Global Warming believers

Science is facts; just as houses are made of stones, so is science made of facts; but a pile of stones is not a house and a collection of facts is not necessarily science.

My prediction results

November 9, 2007

On August 14th I made the following predictions for the 2007 elections:

Mississippi Barbour 55%
Kentucky Beshear 56%
Louisiana Jindal 58% in runoff.

Here are the actual results:

Mississippi Barbour 58.1%
Kentucky Beshear 58.7%
Louisiana Jindal 53.9% no runoff.

I was right on all three but was apparently optimistic. Especially about Louisiana. I will post my 2008 predictions by August. I hope to keep the streak going.
