The hypocrisy runs deep

October 31, 2006

You don’t suppose the same bloggers who were tripping over themselves rushing to support flag burners are the same ones so “upset” with Kerry for implying educated people don’t join the service do you?

Is there a civil war brewing in the Democratic party?

October 31, 2006

The MD Senate seat could go Republican in an election that Democrats hope to change the Senate leadership. If MD goes then there is practically no chance for the Democrats to end up with 51 seats and more important than that is “why”.

Lt Gov Steele is raking in endorsements from black democrats in Maryland. A lot of what they are saying is point blank anger. They know they have been taken advantage of. They know they have been used and it looks like they have a chance to place a shot accross the bows.

If the dems gain 6 seats and lose Maryland they will have been officially bitch slapped and maybe, just maybe, they will finally stand up for the blacks of this nation who need someone, anyone, to stand up to the public school unions and get the education system fixed.

Ohio and Pennsylvania Senate Races

October 28, 2006

These two are lost. Dewine and Santorum are basically just unliked. Ohio Republicans are trying to match the Daley Democrats for corruption and Santorum has played the middle so long that he has lost his base. Bye guys. Nice job losing the states.

Montana Senate Seat Race

October 28, 2006

Burns(R) appears to be very wounded here. Montana is a Red state and yet the sitting Senator is neck and neck with someone who is as far left as Wisconsins Feingold. Be careful of the news on this one. The “Strong” Tester lead in the polls vanished to within margin of error this month. At least this one is not nasty.

Tennessee Senate Seat Race

October 27, 2006

In my old home state (Ft Campbell KY is actually in both KY and TN) we have Ford (D) against Corker (R). Corker is leading in the polls but it is tight. The question is going to be who gets the October surprise? Everyone thought Corker would be hurt by being called to testify about Wal Mart but most of the people who felt that way forgot where most of TN shops. Large urban population versus the rest of the state. Close but I say Corker.

Rhode Island Senate Seat Race

Lincoln Chafee (R)…stop laughing that R is for Republican. Seriously, he is. Stop it! Listen damn it he is a frickin Republican. Oh fine whatever…..

Lincoln Chafee (d) and  Whitehouse(D) (Yes that is his last name) are thrashing it out, blah, blah, blah. Does any republican want this guy back? Anyway, Whitehouse is winning and I wish him all the best against the little Jeffords wanna be.

Missouri Senate Seat race

October 27, 2006

Talent (R)  appears to be in a dead lock with McCaskill(D) but the problem is finding a poll that has a large audience and asks about all 3 candidates. 3 you ask? Yes their are three. The Libertarian is actually polling very well and has a relitively nice campaign going. Mind you he is not allowed to debate the other two on camera but still, he is there. The question is who will he hurt? I don’t think it is Talent. Also talent has regained the lead in basically every poll out there so I think we may have to take this one away from the Dems.

Can the democrats take the Senate?

October 27, 2006

Even the lib press is careful to predict this one.

Basically the Democrats have 45 seats but need 51 to have the majority (the republicans only need 50 due to the Vice President breaking a tie). That means they must do 2 things. A) Pick up 6 seats and B) Not lose any seats. There just so happens to be 6 weak republican races out there right now and here is the breakdown for today. MO, RI, TN, MT, OH and PA. SOme used to say VA was weak also but the child porn king Webb just put a huge wooden stake in his own heart so I am moving that one over to the “when hell freezes over” column for a while.

Now if the Dems win all 6 of these states and do not lose NJ (their weakest seat) they will take control come January. Possible? Lets look at the latest data for each race in seperate posts.

Senate Update

October 27, 2006

Allen is all but out in Virginia. I mean you can’t possibly vote for Webb if he believes that a 4 year old boys penis in an adults mouth is not sex. Frickin sick is what this guy is.
