We, of course, have been told that the Lebanese are powerless against Hezbollah.

Hezbollah has an estimated 6000 fighters. Lebanon has 821, 762 fit males between the ages of 18 and 42. Lebanon also spends 540 Million dollars on it’s military. (numbers from the CIA Fact book).

Anyone want to tell me why they have not retaken their southern border?

UPDATE: Seems that the Lebanese Defense Minister is saying that the Lebanese Army will fight WITH Hezbollah if Israel crosses the border. First, how can this be a threat if the Lebanese Army is too weak to fight Hezbollah? Second, how will the Army find Hezbollah? They are hidden right?

If this is what the Lebenese believe then fine. Perhaps we should talk about the current crises with a little more clarity. Lebanese citizens kidnapped Israeli soldiers and then fired rockets into Israel from Lebanon. Doesn’t sound so pretty does it? If you idiots side with the terrorists then you are terrorists.

Syria better watch out

I just checked yahoo weather for Damascus and the winds are from the SSW at 22MPH and it looks like that will be the trend for a few day. Now if there was an ideal weather pattern for Israel to use a limited tactical nuclear strike I would say it was with the wind from the SSW at more than 18 but less than 30 MPH.

FWIW in Tehran the wind is from the West at 7. Not ideal but at that spead the fallout would stay in Iran.
