Who won Wisconsin?

April 27, 2005

http://washburnsworld.blogspot.com/ is riding the elections in Wisconsin hard. Amazing how an individual can make an entire group of government workers look incompetent without much apparent effort.

Is there a God

April 27, 2005

Humor me for a second as I ask a question….

1. Laws of Physics (that is Laws not theories) hold that neither energy or matter can be created or destroyed, only changed.

2. There is matter and energy in the universe

3. Matter and energy are not evenly distributed accross the universe but is clumped and concentrated

Given the 3 facts above we have to ask a question. If everything has always been around why is it not uniformly distributed? Everything has had eternity to come to a rest but it has not.

Is the Pope Catholic?

April 27, 2005

No links needed, a million blogs have commented on why the media is treating Benedict XVI like he is a reactionary.

I have a quick question though. What is the hell is CNN and the rest of them doing slandering (and yes I mean that) the official leader of a religious faith? Was he fairly elected? Were all the rules followed? Is he fit to serve? None of those questions (the only legitimate ones) were asked. Instead he is a Nazi or a Neocon.

The only thing missing is the network discovering faxes from his military commander saying he was AWOL.

These elitest boneheads need to learn a valuable lesson. 64 Million Catholics (one of 4 Americans) may get slightly peeved by calling their leader names.

But I may be too harsh, after all there is NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT that they could be reporting on. Mass graves in Iraq, Syia pulling it’s occupation Army out of Lebanon, Castro’s net worth of $550,000,000 dollars as he raises the minimum wage in Cuba to something like $9 a MONTH. I mean why in God’s name would we be interested in in depth news coverage of those things. We want DeLay and Benedict 24/7 right?

Man these people are idiots

Will of the people

What the heck is up with Federal Judge confirmations?

A president (elected by the American People) has nominated Judges to the Senate (elected by the American People) and a minority of the Senate is stopping them from being confirmed?

First, screw these negotiations and put them up for a vote now. If the Democrats fillibuster then let them do it. This country has a hell of a lot of important things to do and any time a pathetic whiney bunch of pissants is allowed to stop the majority it only distracts the adults from real business.

Second, if the Republicans in the Senate can not do their job then they do not deserve their job. Welcome to the real world.

Dr. Taylor at http://www.poliblogger.com/ really explains this well to those who are not government procedure buffs.

Irony abounds

April 1, 2005

As we wait for the first Slavik Pope to leave this earth a Slavik Illinios Governer is forcing Catholics to commit grave sin.

http://www.lasvegassun.com/sunbin/stories/nat-gen/2005/apr/01/040101657.html

At least he could have had a microscopic shred of something akin to the smallest cousin of decency and waited a week.

Can someone give me a reason why the Illinios democrats are trying so damn hard to offend the huge Catholic population of their state?
